Civic & Community
Aurora Comet Center- An 11,170 square foot community center which includes a full gymnasium/community room, a kitchenette, restrooms, public library, exercise and weight training facilities.
Black Hawk County Maintenance Garages- Three pre engineered steel buildings for storage and maintenance of county vehicles.
Clermont Opera House- Renovations to the existing opera house building including new windows and exterior doors, interior ADA accessible restrooms and ramp, electrical and HVAC upgrades.
Denver City Hall- New 18,300 square foot City Hall, Library, Community Center and Police Department offices.
Elkader Opera House- Provided design documents for the renovation to the existing building.
Epworth Fire Station & City Hall- New 18,000 square foot facility with full apparatus bays, equipment and maintenance spaces, meeting, training, exercise, offices, restrooms and locker spaces.
Fayette Fire Station- New 6,000 square foot Fire Department. Facility includes apparatus bays, meeting space, offices, restrooms, kitchen and mezzanine storage.
Monona Community Center/City Hall- This facility includes a renovation of the existing city hall and a new attached community center. Facility is a framed building with masonry veener and utilizes geothermal heating and cooling.
Nashua Welcome Center- A new 3,500 square foot FEMA storm shelter with support spaces on lower level, and a 3,000 square foot State Welcome Center on the upper level.
Sherman Bed and Breakfast- Total restoration of this Bed and Breakfast.
Urbana City Hall- New two story city hall and community center.
Urbana Emergency Services- New 11,050 square foot Emergency Services facility. This facility houses Police, Fire and EMS in separate departments.
Waverly Fire Station- New 19,000 square foot state of the art fire station for the Waverly Fire Department.
Waverly Firefighters Museum- A new 4,000 square foot museum facility adjacent to the Waverly Fire Department, owned and operated by the Waverly Volunteer Firefighters. Facility houses the firefighters museum, support and recreation spaces.
