June 4th, 2009 – Martin Design hosts an open house to showcase office renovation

Being Architect’s we are always concerned about the impact of our carbon footprint of doing business. In efforts to reduce our impact on the environment we replaced our windows with glass that is an insulated, argon filled glass with an "e" coating to minimize heat gain and heat loss. Our 115 year old building really needed these. We also replaced some of our lighting with new more modern and energy efficient ones. Our office got a new coat of paint with a completely redesigned color scheme, while at the same time replacing our carpet and adding wood blinds to the windows. To complement our physical renovations we have also updated our company logo and redesigned our website, which you are now viewing.
